CAS Delivers Training to Hundreds of Wyoming Beginning Producers

Custom Ag Solutions recently completed a 2018-2020 partnership with the University of Wyoming’s Cooperative Extension and the USDA’s Risk Management Agency to provide Farming is Risky Business (FRB) workshops to Wyoming beginning producers.

The FRB workshops serve to introduce beginning producers to core risk and risk management concepts and to inform producers of the availability, benefits, and limitations of Federal crop insurance programs available to Wyoming producers. Under the partnership, CAS presenters conducted  workshops in dozens of locations across the Cowboy State. Well over 600 Wyoming beginning producers were reached through the workshops.

CAS appreciates the assistance of UWCE’s John Hewlett, who oversaw the USDA/RMA partnership. CAS also notes the cooperation and contributions of dozens of talented Wyoming Ag-Ed instructors working in schools around the state.
