CAS Partners with Master Stockman Consulting to Reach Montana Producers

Working in concert with Custom Ag Solutions, Master Stockman Consulting’s Bridger Feuz developed, organized, and presented workshops to reach almost 250 rural Montana livestock producers. A total of 10 workshops were held in Southeastern Montana.

Feuz utilized a PowerPoint presentation entitled “Rancher Rules of Thumb: Was Grandpa Right?” to cover a range of risk management and crop insurance topics. The presentation also informed producers of the availability of risk management tools and strategies. Among the tools discussed were many Federal crop insurance programs, including the Livestock Risk Protection (LRP), Pasture, Rangeland, Forage (PRF) and Whole Farm Revenue Protection (WFRP) programs.

CAS notes its long-standing partnership with MSC and appreciates the work of Feuz to provide risk management training and crop insurance education for the benefit of Montana agricultural producers.
