CAS Delivers Cattle Market Update At Indian Livestock Days

Springtime in New Mexico means flowers blooming, baby farm animals, and wind.  For many New Mexico ag producers, springtime also means Indian Livestock Days are here.  The annual event gives Native American livestock producers the opportunity to stay informed about vital livestock market conditions and to gather information and training that improves herds and the quality of meat being produced.

CAS visits Rhode Island and Oklahoma FFA State Conventions

 CAS' Shylea Wingard recently made stops at the Oklahoma and Rhode Island FFA State Conventions, in Oklahoma City and Exeter, respectively.  Presenting CAS' Farming is Risky Business presentation, Wingard was able to share valuable information about risk management and crop insurance to attending beginning ag producers.  Attendees participated in CAS' farm simulation game which allows participants to make decisions for a hypothetical farm which they manage.
