CAS Delivers Crop Insurance Information to Over 1000 Utah Beginning Producers

Custom Ag Solutions (CAS) worked with the Utah FFA to deliver crop insurance information to hundreds of Utah beginning producers enrolled in agriculture education programs.  During the months of October and November, CAS' John Mangus and Scott Crosby traveled throughout the state delivering 51 school-based workshops at nineteen Utah high schools.

CAS Helps Utah Stockgrowers Develop Personal Ag Risk Profiles

Custom Ag Solutions' Brett Crosby delivered risk management information and training to Utah livestock producers attending the Utah Cattlemen's Association's (UTA) Annual Convention & Trade Show held in Salt Lake City, UT, on November 29 and 30, 2012.

Crosby utilized the Personal Ag Risk Profile (PARP) system to allow producers to securely provide personal information about their understanding and views of risk, risk management, and crop insurance programs.

Participant responses were captured electronically and used to create a confidential Personal Ag Risk Profile that is designed to become the foundation for improved risk management understanding and decisions. Participants were encouraged to visit
MyParp.com to obtain their detailed risk profile and to obtain additional risk management information.
